Frequently asked questions
- Does it follow the standard order of operations?
- Yes. Parentheses first, then exponents (right to left), then multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction. A unary minus sits between them: β2Β² = β4, while 2Γβ3 = β6.
- How do degrees and radians work?
- The deg/rad button toggles the mode for sin, cos and tan. Their inverses return the angle in the current mode.
- What does the % key do?
- It divides the preceding number by 100, matching pocket-calculator behaviour: 50% becomes 0.5.
- Is there a history?
- The line under the display shows the last result, which is also available as the Ans variable in the next expression.
